LG has announced the G8X ThinQ smartphone at an event at IFA 2019. A few days back, the same smartphone had launched as LG V50s 5G in South Korea. It brings the Snapdragon 855 processor clocked @2.84GHz. The device incorporates the 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ OLED display on the top. Redmi 5G Phone

Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi is one of the highest smartphone selling brands in India. Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing recently confirmed that they are planning to launch a 5G smartphone in India by 2020. However, he didn’t disclose the device name, but it would be the successor of Redmi K20 Pro with the potential name Redmi K30 Pro.

It is even more impressive that it will be a mid-range handset based on Snapdragon 700 series using the next-generation AI engine. To remind, Qualcomm had announced that they are adding 5G compatible processors in its 700 series. It is a piece of excellent news for those who want a 5G smartphone at an affordable price point. The company didn’t yet confirm the device name. Therefore, we have to wait for further information!

5G Launch date in India

Most of the Indian internet service providers are still waiting to upgrade the infrastructure. A recent analysis conducted by UBS, a global firm providing financial services, claims that it will require approx. $30.5 Billion investment from Indian ISPs. That is huge amongst which forces companies to think twice before making huge investments on 5th generation Internet connectivity.
