EMUI 10 beta recruitment open for Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus, Nova 4e and Maimang 7

We have latterly reported about Huawei’s EMUI 10 Beta announcement for as much as 33 Honor and Huawei Devices. Some of the flagship devices have been already started getting closed beta testing in China. Now, its time to include some mid-range devices.

According to the latest information shared by the company, Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus, Nova 4e, and Maimang 7 AKA P20 Lite have started receiving the EMUI 10 Beta update. It will worth noting that closed beta arrives with limited availability. Therefore, the recruitments are available for only 500 log-version users and 1,500 non-log version users. It will be open until mid-October. The model numbers are mentioned below:

  • Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus – STK-AL00, STK-TL00
  • Huawei Nova 4e – MAR-AL00, MAR-TL00
  • Huawei Maimang 7 – SNE-AL00

If you are holding any of the above-mentioned devices, you can apply for the EMIUI 10 Closed-Beta update. The update is based on the latest Android 10 and comes with plenty of new features. It is always advisable not to install any beta on your primary device. Because you might face some bugs as well as apps crashes either. The company is pushing only for development purposes before they deliver a stable update. This might take place before the end of this year, at least for Huawei flagship devices.

EMUI 10 Global Launch

At an IFA 2019 event, the company had provided a complete roadmap for the global EMUI 10 update. The shared information suggests Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will receive the EMUI 10 global update in November, followed by Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS, Mate 20X (4G), Honor 20, Honor View 20 and Honor 20 Pro by December. Huawei P30 Lite, P20 series, and Mate 10 series will get it by March 2020 and remaining devices in Q2, 2020. Apart from that, Huawei Mate 30 series was launched with EMUI 10 stable ROM out of the box.

Overall, the company aims to deliver the latest update to 30+ devices. Honor devices will get Magic UI 3.0 instead of EMUI 10. Indeed, it brings the same user interface, but a different marketing name. Obviously, China is a priority for the company, but soon the company will start pushing to global devices as well.
