Oneplus launched a new smartphone dubbed as OnePlus 7T, a successor of standard OnePlus 7. We were also hoping OnePlus 7T to make its appearance, but it doesn’t happen. Hopefully, we would be seeing the bigger sibling on October 10, when the company is holding another launch event in the UK.
OnePlus 7T Specifications
Speaking to the specs, it brings several upgrades over the OnePlus 7 smartphone. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ processor, comparatively 10% faster than the Snapdragon 855 found on its predecessor. Another significant change is the new three rear cameras on the back. The handset boasts a triple 48 MP, f/1.6 (wide) OIS + 12 MP, f/2.2 (telephoto) 2x optical zoom + 16 MP, f/2.2 (ultra-wide) camera on the back and unchanged 16MP front-facing shooter with same notch design.
The OnePlus 7T features a slightly larger 6.55-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Fluid AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It supports HDR10+ content with a faster 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother touch experience. The latest Android 10 OS operates the device based on OxygenOS 10. As for storage, the RAM is 8GB coupled with either 128GB or 256GB of built-in storage.
The battery pack is 3800 mAh with 30W Warp Charge 30T support, which claims about 70% only in 30 minutes. Not significantly improved, but surely it has batter charging speed compared to the 20W adapter for the OnePlus 7. Other essential connectivity options are present and it has the same in-display optical fingerprint sensor to unlock the device.
Pricing and Specifications
The OnePlus 7T comes in Frosted Silver, Glacier Blue color options, and it is priced at 39,999 INR for the base variant, which goes up to 39,999 INR for the higher variant. It will exclusively be sold via Amazon.in starting from September 28 in India. The rest of the world gets it later. Do you really wanna pick one up? Let’s know in below comment section!
