Vivo IQOO Pro 5G confirmed to arrive in August

Vivo IQOO Pro 5G launch date is set in August month. The device is expected to bring Snapdragon 855 Plus and some other minor upgrades over the original Vivo IQOO.

Recently, we have heard that Vivo is working on a new 5G smartphone under its gaming division IQOO. finally, the company has officially confirmed its name as IQOO Pro 5G. The company confirms its arrival to happen in August month without revealing the exact date.

However, the company didn’t reveal anything about specifications except posing its portrait, but we have recently found a banner speculating it to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. Subsequently, a 5G Vivo device with model number V1916a surfaced on the 3C certification site, revealing its charging capacity of 44W same as found on Vivo IQOO. That device is expected to end up being Vivo Pro 5G.

Further, the device is said to be one of the cheapest 5G smartphones in China. By going with the appearance of the provided portrait, the device somehow looks identical to the original Vivo IQOO, that was introduced back in this year. The Vivo IQOO sports a 6.41-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The optics department is handled by the triple 12 MP, f/1.8 main + 13 MP, f/2.4, (ultrawide) + 2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor camera, while, a single 12MP front-facing shooter for selfies.

The handset runs on Android 9 Pie based on the company’s own custom Funtouch 9 UI on the top. Further, it arrives with 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 44W fast charging support. Some reports claim that the 5G version will have a larger battery as 5G technology consume more power. All the essential connectivity options are present on this device.
