Vivo Nex 3 to be launched on September 16 (updated)

Vivo's official confirmed to arrive on September 16 in China.

Update: Vivo Officially confirms that Vivo Nex 3 will make its debut on September 16

We have yesterday reported the Vivo Nex 3 receives certification from Chinese authority TEENA. Now it seems the company discloses the launch date of its forthcoming smartphone via its official website.

The Vivo Nex 3 product page reads, “Nex 3 launch event is hosted on Vivo Official Mall on September 16 at 10:00 o’clock.” Moreover, the full specs list has been already released, the only thing we need to know is its pricing. Needless to say, the device gives you options to choose between 4G and 5G variant.

Speaking to the design, Vivo Nex 3 front portion is fully covered with a dual curvature waterfall display, forehead and chin are narrow with almost invisible side bezels and interestingly, there is no physical button on either side, because it uses virtually designed haptic feedback for Volume and power key. On the top, there is an additional power button, 3.5mm jack, and microphone, while, the bottom side gets the speaker grill, USB Type-C port, and secondary microphone. The backside holds the triple camera setup, which somehow looks like a mechanical watch.

Specs-wise, Vivo Nex 3 accumulates a 6.89-inch 1080 x 2256 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with Adreno 640 GPU clocked at 700MHz. The optics department is handled by the triple 64MP + 13MP + 13MP rear camera and a 16MP front shooter on the front for selfies. The handset packs 4500 mAh non-removable battery and arrives with 128/256/512GB storage options paired with 8/12GB RAM. All in all, the device is ready to make its commercial debut.
