ZTE hints to release its first 5G smartphone soon in China

Yesterday, the Chinese government allotted 5G licenses to some major carriers – China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telcom, and to the China Broadcasting Network Corp. Subsequently, ZTE Mobile revealed a poster on Weibo confirming that the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G version is coming soon.

The device is reportedly said to make its official entrance in July for home country China. The smartphone is currently accumulating necessary certificates. Moreover, the company is actively working with major operators to provide optimal 5G speed, and in a demo test, they had achieved up to 2Gbs speed. It will worth noting that the ZTE AXON 10 Pro 5G was announced in May in China, which further expended to Finland, Germany, UAE, and other countries.

ZTE AXON 10 PRO 5G Specifications

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is equipped with a 6.47-inch Full HD+ AMOLED flexible curved screen. It is powered by Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 855 processor paired with Adreno 640 GPU. Being an IP68 certified device, it can survive in 1.5-meter water for 30 minutes. For optics, it has a triple 48 MP, f/1.7, (wide) +  8 MP, f/2.4 + (telephoto) + 20 MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide) rear camera, whereas, a 20MP front-facing shooter. The handset runs on MiFavor 9.1 UI based Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
